I have noticed the lack of communication within the team and anouncments. Who is the team leader? Is Gary still our contact person? Anyone have his e-mail address?

A memo came out last week stating that the current division of leadership is as follows: RAT Supervisor = Gary Laurent (don't have his email unfortunately, call him at 503-659-1294) RAT Administrators = Robert Aberle, Matt Chandler, David Landstrom
How the administrators are going to divide the responsibilities I do not know. My suggestion, as stated at the last RAT meeting, is to have a TRAINING COORDINATOR, EQUIPMENT COORDINATOR, and a MEDICAL COORDINATOR. The responsibilities of each is pretty self-evident .... these would be 1yr posts and next year the team would vote in new administrators. That way the responsibility and ability to play an more in-depth role on the team can be shared by all. The current 3 administrators were picked by AMR ... they were the only 3 that applied for the position. I am hoping that the RAT Leadership Group utilize this message board and memos to all members (remembering that there are multco members) to get information out to everyone.
Everybody should voice their thoughts though .... this is a TEAM. Let your wishes known!!!!

RAT meeting will be announced very soon, we (Matt, Robert, David) are currently looking over our job descriptions (Phils version) and the new SOP's. When I have more info for you I will post it. I know this has been too long of a process, please have just a little more patience. Good stuff coming soon.

On the board in Sandy, the meeting is posted for January 14th. Can this be confirmed, and if so, the information passed on to ALL members? It is my understanding that some of the MultCo and part time RAT personal do not know of this meeting. Thanks .....

Is there a time associated with this meeting?
Also, just for future reference, ALL of the MultCo RAT personnel are on A rotation ... and the 14th is an "A" day. Some of the Sandy RATs will always have to work on a day when there's a meeting, but it would be nice if the MultCo RATs could make it. Juuuuuust a thought.

Settle down, Phil picked the date, but as far as I am aware it isn't set in stone yet. A page anouncement will be made with a solid date soon. Thanks

Dave, come on read the above post. The meeting will NOT be on the 14th. An announcement will come soon with a set date so all can attend. If you have a problem with this speak to Gary or Phil. Were doing the best we can to get some info prepared for the meeting so were not wasting anybody's time. Possible subjects will be protocol updates/revisions, SOP's, training, and our dealings and delays with Cloudveil. We came into these positions right before Christmas and right or wrong, we had a lot going on between our families and our normal shifts. I know this is all very frustrating, but please have patience, we do not really have control of things right now Phil and Gary do. The meeting will be scheduled on a day when Phil, Gary, and as many RAT's as possible can attend (B rotation day). Thanks have a great week.

Thanks for the confirmation Matt. The "above post" was just as vague as the rest of the information coming out to the RATs. I was just trying to get some sort of confirmation and until your post today we did not have it. Thanks for your hard work!
